Blog Challenge for June 8, 2006

Lisa S: "If you were to win the PowerBall jackpot, what would you do with it......and why?? (assume it's a big one!)"

Well first there would be the obvious of paying off the house and any misc debt we had - which thankfully we don't have much anyhoo. Then we'd buy/build a new huge house that'd be our dream house!

Then we'd put away a HUGE chunk into Trinity's existing college and stock funds. Followed by our retirement funds that are already set up too.

Next thing is we'd take the whole family on that Disney vacation that we've all been talking about for years. It'd be neat to have the whole Hill Family and entourage together on an adventure like that!

Then we'd buy a place back home at Rockport, MA. so we'd always have a place to put our toes in the sand.

A European vacation for Paul and I would be in order too! That's something we've talked about or a long time.

After that......? Once you pay the taxes on your winnings you usually "lose" half of the jackpot so not sure how "big" the win could be. I guess overall my dreams for a jackpot win aren't much different than anyone else. Bills, home, education, and travel.
